To avoid that, restaurants can create the kit by doing all the prep work and measuring out ingredients and also providing a set of instructions for assembling and preparing the meal.

With everyone’s favorite tool to use now, Zoom, you can plan online cooking classes weekly by simply needing to get your customers to sign up for lessons at a specific time.

If you are able to, you can actually sell your customers / students the ingredients they will need to prepare for the online cooking classes. And it doesn’t have to stop there, you can also switch things up weekly. Someday you may do dessert classes and other days you can also go for mixology.

4.Ghost Kitchen

It’s the latest trend right now, even before the pandemic.

When you think about the concept in relation to our current pandemic issue, this could be one of those restaurant hacks that might just save you a dollar or two in your pocket.

The concept is simple: What if you were to use your facility as strictly a food preparation operation? If you have a strong delivery business, that could be enough to sustain you and you could also rent out your facilities for other businesses to use.

So don’t worry, restaurants are not going away. Nevertheless, that doesn’t mean that they aren’t in a critical state right now. And by turning to creative ways to turn a profit, you might just be able to thrive for the future.
